We get fresh and frozen Abalone in store, sourced from TOP Fish. They farm their abalone on the NW Coast of Tasmania out of Stanley. These abalone come in around 50g each. Because they’re smaller there’s no need to tenderise them yourself. Best described as ocean bacon, finely slice, coat with salt and pepper and fry them up in butter for a delicious treat! They can also be crumbed, but they’re tasty enough on their own. Give them a go today. The best part is you get a beautiful shell to keep at the end.
